Canadian photo diary. Day 20:

Today I had to wake up at 6:30am (these early mornings are killing me) and head for the airport. The flight was quick; a bit more than an hour. We are in Vancouver now. A main city in British Columbia, Canada. We  caught a ferry to Lynn Canyon and then went on a half hour walk. Then we caught the ferry back and walked around the town.

Canadian photo diary. Day 19:

Today was our last day in Alberta, Canada. We left Jasper at 8:00am and drove to Mt. Edith Cavell, where we saw 2 bears in the space of 5 minutes. At Mt. Edith Cavell we went on a 45 minutes walk to melting ice and mountains. We were extremely lucky with the weather the days we were here as it poured down with rain on our drive to Calgary. The hotel we are staying in is beautiful, the pool has a slide! Jasper and Banff were so beautiful. Our animal count all up equaled 9 elk, 9 bears, 4 deer, and many squirrel. It was fantastic!

Canadian photo diary. Day 18:

Today was a pretty relaxed day. It was 32 degrees, so it was pretty hot. We drove an hour and a half to our first destination; Mount Robson and on the drive we saw another Elk on the side of the road. When we were walking around Mount Robson I began to feel really dizzy, from the heat I guess, and I was about to faint- luckily mum and Dylan caught me, and I sat on the ground with my head between my legs and I blacked out for about a minute. It felt really weird. But luckily it didn't last long, and I felt alright soon after. We went and looked at the Robson River and then drove to the next destination and went on a 30 minute walk to the Overlander Falls, which was pretty.  On the drive back to our cabin we had a quick stop at Moose Lake and now we have just been relaxing. We are all exhausted!

Canadian photo diary. Day 17:

The days just go by so fast! I want to press the "pause" button on life! Today was great! More wildlife was spotted and we went on a boat cruise at Maligne Lake and went on a tiring walk at Maligne Canyon.

We saw another black bear cub deep in the bushes!

I was about 1m away from the Elk! It was so beautiful. It's antler's are all velvety!
This was the view from the Highway we were driving along.
Maligne Canyon
Dinner; bread, minnestrone soup, chicken parmigiana on a bed of vegetables and potato.
We were driving to our cabin and I spotted this bear, we spent about 20 minutes watching it walk and trying to get a good photo. It was pretty far away. It's so amazing and unreal being so close to the wildlife.

Canadian photo diary. Day 16:

Today was another awesome day! On our way to Jasper, we saw beautiful lakes and canyons, a black bear cub from far away and on our way to dinner a large grizzly bear ran in front our car!!! And, yes there's more, on our way back to our motel, another large grizzly bear ran in front of our car! It was awesome! I can't even describe the feeling of being so close to something so big and wild, it is so beautiful and looks so cuddly :)
