American photo diary. Day 10:

Today we went into New York. We went to 1st Street and around the East Village, and then on a 2 hour walking tour in Greenwich Village, where the tour guide informed us on all the history that occurred there. Very interesting. There were lots of nice buildings and I got a bagel from the famous Katz's Deli- it was packed. It was boiling hot today- same as every summer day in New York.

Today we went into New York City again. We drove to Weehawken and then caught the ferry over to Brooklyn, where we walked the Brooklyn Bridge.

Today was the big day: New York City.
When we drove into the city and I saw those buildings- there is nothing else like it.
